It’s ok to change your style over the years. This family had studio sessions for their first babies but for baby number three they choose at home baby pictures and keep sake film.

There really is no right or wrong in what you choose, it’s just a different look and feel. Despite my Natural Newborn studio pictures being quite natural and un-styled, they still look very clean and minimalistic compared to the more rustic and loose look of at home baby images.
Naturally your home images will be full of details and storytelling from your life, and you will usually have a bigger gallery because of this, and this is also what makes it perfect for a baby family film

Main differences

• The background in your own home will be more “busy”, but they will also add to the story of your images.

• The light in your home will be all natural, so if your house is dark, your images will look more dark and rustic.

• Because of the story telling feel you get with images taken at home, they are absolutely perfect for an heirloom album, full of emotions and connection.

• At home we can capture you and baby in more real life situation like using your changing table, feeding on the sofa/bed, walking with the pram, being in the garden. Generally include all those signs of a baby in the house, that has suddenly appeared over the last few months as you got ready for baby to arrive.

You don’t have to live in a fantastic impressive house, and you don’t have to clean and tidy because I’m coming!
Where we live is important to document. There are two option. Either your children will grow up and you will still be in this house, in which case isn’t it nostalgic to be able to look back at it over the years? Or, you might have moved in on, in which case it will become a memory of the path your family has been on.
